| **Description: Wireless LAN** access point station provides a fully IEEE 802.11abg compliant wireless LAN access point solution with connection establishment within a piconet, addressing , packet formation ,timing and power control which includes the industry’s smallest 802.11abg baseband and MAC as well as associated firmware and a reference hardware system. The extremely low silicon footprint make it cost effective for home gateways and wireless media adapter applications.
** Role:**Complete Designing, development and testing of PLCP (Physical Layer Convergence Procedure) of physical layer of 802.11abg baseband which includes the transmitter / Receiver. PLCP supports 54 Mps of maximum data rate and uses communication frequency range of -2.4Ghz.PLCP performs the preamble and header generation as well as scrambles , encodes and modulates the date received from PMD of Baseband on the transmitter side and demodulates, decode and descrambles the data received from MAC , removes its preamble and header and then send the data to PMD for further processing .Baseband PLCP supports CCK,BPSK,QPSK,16-QAM and 64 QAM modulation techniques for all data rates and have high decode gain viterbi algorithm for added performance. Design and testing of CMF (Channel Matched Filter)& Interpolator. Interpolator resamples the complex digital baseband signal, generating a complex output sequence at a rate either higher or lower than the complete input sequence to calculate the frequency offset. Channel matched filter provides maximum signal to noise ratio(S/N) at its output which calculates the maximum loss of the signals taking place while transmission. Designing and testing of channels. The technology used is **Verilog**, **C** and **UNIX Shell Scripting**. |

**Role**: I was involved in designing the database tables, their relationships and writing SQL and stored procedures required by JSP for querying the database.
