In general the work was OK, but it requires too much involvement. I sent a complete and detailed spec., however, there were many discussions on what is included in the work and what was not, this consumed a lot of time from my side. At one time these discussions took more time that it took to fix the issue. I had to waive some features because the freelancer was not able to implement them due to lack of testing hardware. On the good side, there was an effort to finish the project, and even after releasing the milestones, when I had a problem the freelancer did give the proper support.

worst scam of my life. nothing worked and lost 2 months for nothing.
