Our *working way* : Once we find a project, we read the requirements and then we make a first analysis based on it. This “light analysis†gives us the principal ideas about how to do the project using all the available tools and our knowledge. Of course, it was only a previous analysis, just to inform the customer how we suppose to make it. With this analysis, we make our first bid, which contains information about how we'll work or imagine the solution; perhaps it contains some questions about the requirements. Also, it may contain the amount that we suppose the project will cost. If we think that is necessary some kind of information before calculate a price, our first bid hasn't an amount, because it's only to get some extra ideas. Once the bid has been done, we start the communication with the user, hopping to arrive to a deal. On acceptance, since we work in an interactive way, we re-make the first analysis in a deeper way, considering the points that were not descript in the requirements. In this way, we are able to deliver a first prototype of the software (snapshots, diagrams, etc) assuring that the project will be made as requested. We modify this prototype the necessary times until the user agree with it and after that is when the clock starts ticking.
