Application of Remote Sensing & GIS in Natural Disaster – A Gujarat Experience

A research paper was published at the seminar titled "Advances in Remote Sensing Technology with Special Emphasis on High Resolution Imagery". The paper discusses the aspects of floods visualization and monitoring system as a scientific and rational decisions support system based on the water level measured at the downstream river basin, and the affected villages calculated based on the analytics performed over historical floods data (40 years).
