I am a Chartered Accountant from ICAP and ACCA and working towards an Energy Risk Professional Qualification. I have worked for E&Y Pakistan where I was working for its Financial services Group and specialised in audits of Banks, Insurance Companies and Mutual Funds. I have also worked for Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited (EPCL), a subsidiary of one of the largest conglomerates in Pakistan involved in the petrochemical Vinyl Chain, in its Internal Audit and department and was responsible for testing various processes for economy, efficiency and effectiveness of operations. In addition to the audit role, I was also a member of the Committee that rolled out the Enterprise risk management program at EPCL. Also worked in EY Saudi Arabia as an Assistant Manager where my key responsibilities include performing external audits of various entities in the petrochem, steel manufacturing and insurance sectors and performing as a liasion between the firm's senior management and the clients finance departments Currently working in Engro Fertilizers limited in its internal audit department.
