I was quite specific on the potential difficulties of the required task. He took the job on and initially said all but 1 task was done in a very short space of time. However I think he was not equipped to complete the task as I had hoped and after sometime thrown at the task he decided to call it quits and handed back the fee. I am appreciative that he took the initiative sooner to let me know and he had good communication. I think my request was very specific and the work for this I doubt represents what he has to offer in his main areas of expertise. For a more appropriate job I would use him again, not many people have taken this task on, so I can only imagine it really is not straightforward!
