PHOTOGRAPHER ... commercial ... industrial

Commercial/industrial photographer with extensive experience. Formally trained and educated in photography and ready to work in what ever style the assignment demands. Medium Format Digital (Hi-Res) is my preferred shooting medium but not the only cameras in my locker. I'm well tooled up to deal with most assignment without the need to hire outside equipment, that is unless you have a really specific project needing specialty gear. I am comfortable working studio or location, interior or exterior. If you are a traditionalist, a purist or you have a specific need for your images to be produced on film in formats such as 35mm, 120 roll film or 5x4/8x10 sheet film, just ask. Metropolitan Water, Sewage and Drainage Board

The MWS&DB is now known as Sydney Water. Their photographic department was the largest unit of the NSW government departments with 7 photographers in the field along with a Film Unit. I was initially employed as a Grade Two Photographer but quickly progressed to Grade One working on indepenent and group assignments.

Montgomery Dunn Photographic Studio

Feb 1971 - May 1972 (1 year, 3 months)

My first job as a photographer. Starting as a junior/assistant to the head photographer. Laboratory duties included processing and printing of Black and White and Colour. Photographer duties included assiting the photographer in the studio and on location shoots. Assistance was setting lighting as directed loading and preparing cameras. Equipment used in this situation were primarily Nikon and Hasselblad. Within six months I was shooting assignments under direction without supervision
