Look at my profile picture , yeah ! You guessed it , Python is the main language i code in .. i've been using python for 6 years and i totally love it . I find my comfort in web scraping , web development,GUI creation ,vulnerability assessment (basically anything related to the www ) which means that i code in PHP , HTML and fully aware of database/server management as well . With that being said , you cannot be a web developer without having the enthusiasm to learn bash scripting and shell coding . I consider myself to be an advanced level developer in all of the above , yet what i hate the most is JAVA and i don't code in it or use it in anyway .
