I have been a creative writer of music and written content for 18 years. I started out writing toplines and arrangements for some very successful dance tracks throughout the noughties. In 2002 I started writing comedy scripts for Galaxy Radio presenter Paul Conroy and continued to contribute to shows until around 2010. My scripts have been aired on Galaxy Radio and Jack FM. In 2015 I moved into performance poetry and spoken word. I have written material which has taken me to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Royal Albert Hall and the finals of numerous slam poetry competitions under my performance name Alexander Rhodes. In addition, I have started touring my award-winning Verse Play "One Foot In The Rave" which is written and directed by myself. I currently write multiple blogs, content and articles on a diverse range of subjects including cycling, performance art and the mortgage prisoner phenomenon. My work has featured on BBC Panorama.
