MySQL Event for weekly/hourly Woocommerce productdatabase update

Need SQL Event (or equivalent) created that reads 3 (three) TAB-separated txt-files containing product specifics, price and current stock quantity. Files are locally stored on Ubuntu-machine and updated through CRON-schedule. Number of products is approx. 23 000. Your challenge is to read these files and build products in existing Woordpress/WooCommerce database so that they are accessible from store, with all neccessary product specifications (description, price, SKU, categories (3 of them), backorder status etc.). The product catalog are to be created or updated every sunday evening. The current stock quantity is available from separate file and stock needs to be updated every 2 hours during the week (mon-fri). Catalog items can be purged every sunday if needed, and then rebuilt as stated above. Or, if more convenient, updated with new products and older products that are no longer represented in product file, are to be removed from database (this is your choice as designer what makes the best solution). Product creation should not in any way collide with creation of posts within the platform. The main focus of this solution is time; the process needs to take as little time as possible, especially the stock update in order to disrupt website customers as little as possible. Txt-files with test-data are given upon assignment. If needed, access to development server(ubuntu) with WP and WC installation is available. Any questions are welcome.
