I've typically developed these applications using C#, in combination with a small, local SQLite database. The synchronization of the data is done using either a network message, generation of a flat-file, or directly to another database. Hi, this is not the application you can get by by 450 to 750 with your desired quality. Fortunately i have the exact package ready made. It includes a WinCE application and a server side application. Synchronization can be made via TCP (wifi module). It is possible to define plants, machines and parameters including low bound and high bound for each parameter. It also includes a user management system with ability to limit a user to a specific plant or machine. In WinCE application, you will first select the plant and machine. Then you can input values for each parameter using either a grid list or step-by-step on a gauge. Finally you can view reports of machines operations on server application.
