The Food Assembly operates throughout Europe sponsoring Local Hosts to operate an online Farmers Market with a weekly collection. The Food Assembly also franchises the Assembly model in certain countries I.e. Denmark and The Netherlands (I believe). The Food Assembly has decided to withdraw from the UK on the grounds that it is not growing fast enough, they have no plans to franchise the UK. To support the existing hosts we proposed setting up a substitute website with all the functionality of the existing Food Assembly parent but owned or part owned by the hosts, this would be a membership market place with four tiers of members.
1. Customer member
2. Supplier member
3. Host member
The site would require to be secure and stable and support about 50 hosts initially, be expandable, and should be based totally on the functionality of the FA with an alternative venue and delivery options. We would also require a maintenance contract and hosting with a link to a payment provider that can receive payments and disburse them to producers hosts and HQ with the facility to make refunds Mangopay are the current FA provider although Stripe might be an option. The best FA site to model the functionality on would be [login to view URL] which is the Danish franchise version although the translation to English is nor good it is a better site than the original. The look and feel of the site should be fresh and vibrant similar to [login to view URL] or some of the [login to view URL] sites. I trust this is sufficient to give you enough of an overview and allow you to present proposals. If you require any further information I am available seven days to answerer your queries
