There was a time when consumers had to manually contact tradesmen for there services but then started to connect with vendors and tradesmen online.
I want to replicate this theme but for a different industry.
How will the website be required to work:
Consumers post a job they need doing. So for instance, if they need a new roof to be built, they post the details online, and can attach pictures as well if they want to.
Once the job is submitted, we will alert relevant tradesmen in the area, and if it is the right job, they will e-mail the consumer saying they're interested in doing the job.
The homeowner can then see the tradesmen's history, feedback, the number of jobs they have done, and they can read the reviews and decide whether they would like them to work on the job.
We will charge tradesmen a small amount as a membership to be on the site and once they get work, we take a small success fee.
