Restaurant Website

SUMMARY: This project is to build a restaurant website from an existing template. Website will consist of 4 primary pages in addition to the home page. A few of those pages will have multiple "tiles" to divide content into sections (think of a menu page that divides the menu into sections for easier viewing). Additionally there will be 7 secondary pages, for a total of 12 pages (including home) with a few of those having more complex content. TEMPLATE: Template was purchased and has been customized to reflect the restaurant's brand. We are open to improvements in the branding if you have some ideas, but are primarily focused on building content and deploying the website. It DOES NOT involve Flash, rather it uses HTML and CSS for all effects. The template can be viewed at [login to view URL] Current content is just filler and is to be discarded. The template is multi-platform (phone, tablet, and PC) using CSS and that capability must be preserved. Template includes 3 other types of boilerplate pages which can serve as launching pads for building the various required actual pages. CONTENT: Here is the outline of pages: Home -Menu +Submenu pages or tiles 1 through 7 (bar, lunch, dinner, etc.) -Mission/About Us -Picture Gallery -Catering and Special Events Subservient pages (through bottom of page links or text links) -Contact -Community Support -Jobs -Reservations (embed 3rd party service: rezbook) -Find Us (map embed & directions) -Email membership -Privacy policy Most of the work will be in the menu pages. GRAPHIC DESIGN: Graphic design work should be minimal, perhaps the development of a few interactive elements (buttons, icons, etc.) However, there will be digital photo editing and manipulation work required, but we are posting that as a separate project. Feel free to bid on both if you desire. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: For the content which will change frequently (specials, announcements, parts of the menu) we want a structure that uses Apache-style file includes to allow the use of simple text files to provide the content. Additionally, we want clean code, well structured and readable as we will have to maintain this over time. Especially we want a clean and readable CSS structure. Finally, we have some tech skills, just not much time, so if it helps the budget we can edit in some of our content directly after you have built the page structure/nav/styles.
