Job description • Responsible for design and development of APIs for digital innovation team • Java/ JEE, JavaScript, C# • NodeJS • DB – SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2 • Tomcat • SOA, REST, JSON, XSLT, SOAP, XML, JMS, IBM MQ, MQTT, XSLT, EDIFACT • Microsoft Azure API Management • IBM IIB + IBM DataPower • Passion for work • Communication skills and teamwork • Agile / LEAN practitioner • Implementing unit tests • Manage deployments of apps to App Store • Keeping up to date with latest technologies (blockchain, PWA, chatbots, AI/ML, Big Data etc) • Airline industry knowledge would be an advantage • Microsoft Azure – CosmosDB, AzureSQL, Logic Apps, functions, App Service, Event Grid would be an advantage Minimum of 5 years development experience, 3 years in a similar role developing and maintaining APIs
