I initially made a program using the Visual Basic in Access but I want to have a program that stands alone rather than have Access always in the background. OK! Now I am trying using Access 2007 as my database and Visual Studio 2019 Visual Basic as my front end. I have a form (Label Printer) which is attached to my Access Database and I have a Combobox so that I can see all the clients in the database. When I select a client their details are then visible on the form text boxes. I now want to add more clients to the database. I don't want to do this on my current form (Label Printer) so I have made another form (Input Data) which stands alone. I add my new Client information onto "Input Data" then transfer it to "Label Printer" with my code (this appears to work OK): [login to view URL]([login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL]) [login to view URL](PrinterFrontend.LabelsDataSet.Client_Table) This is sending the information from the “Input Data” to the "Label Printer" form and the Client information is appearing at the end of the database list when looking for it with the Combobox. When I select the new Client name the information appears in the textboxes on the "Label Printer" form as would expect. I can add several more Clients and their information is available, but only while the Visual Basic is running. For some reason the Visual Basic not writing the information back to the Database. As a Note: • The key field in the Database is the Client Name. So it sorts on the Client Name in Alphabetical order . • When I have my application running as I said. I can see the names and details that I have entered but the Client Names are shown at the bottom of the Client Name List and in the order I entered them from the “Input Data” form not in Alphabetical order. What am I missing in my code so it writes to the Database?
