I need a simple server script making that will serve live tv via ffmpeg command on request via http preferably.
Usage example: User A selects http://mysite:port/live/[url removed, login to view] from an m3u list of 70 chans. The script should listen for the connection made and start my ffmpeg script and serve it using a .json with the ffmpeg commands in it as database. Users B,C,D also want to join this chan, however source upload speed means i must use that single input to serve all users, not 1 input per output. Upon the last user leaving that chan i would like the system to revert back to listen with ffmpeg ready to run again.
The source is already encoded for playback and ffmpeg is largely just copying the stream with a few meta tags added.
This is not a commercial venture so authentication is not needed due to the very small scale nature of this project and essentially being a valuable learning curve for myself.
