Basic Video Editing of Aerial Drone Videos

This job will potentially lead to more additional work. This project requires the following skills and resources: -access to high speed internet, -access to a Dropbox or other type of free account to upload and download files to, video editing skills, and video editing software. Project Description: I will provide either 1080p or 4K videos taken from a aerial drone. These files will be sent to you in their original native format via Dropbox (as some are 2-6 TB in size each). Once you download these files, you will: 1) first review the video to determine the sections that are usable for a screensaver (see description below and sample) 2) edit the original video into one or more smaller videos that can be used for a screen saver, and 3) upload the newly edited files to your Dropbox and send a link back so they can be downloaded. Video Editing Criteria/Guidance: Each original video to be edited is 1 minute to 10 minutes in length. The video should be edited in the following ways: -it should not have any large movements or shaking of the camera (an example is provided attached of an original video and an edited video) -any area in the video where a propeller shows should not be used -the video should be edited in stand alone sections, rather than being joined together with fades or other transitions -the sections that you edit/create must be no less than 30 seconds and can be as long as 6 minutes. -the introduction to the video an ending to each newly edited video clip should have a 2 second cross dissolve -the edited file extension and file name (such as Salt Creek [login to view URL]) should be the same file name with 1, 2, and 3 included at the end depending upon the number of edits from the original footage (i.e. Salt Creek Beach [login to view URL], Salt Creek Beach 2.mov...) -the new edited file should not be compressed at all when rendering (resolution, bit rate, and frame rate should be preserved) --it should remain in the original 4K format or 1080p format that it is provided to you. It is estimated that there is approximately 20 hours of work initially, and if successful, additional work will be available to successful bidders in the future. This is basic editing, and does not require any color adjustments, speed changes, stabilization, ken burns or other types of post-production editing, I estimate each video file should take approximately 20-40 minutes of editing, resulting in 1-5 separate video clips. An additional 20 minutes is estimated for downloading of original clip, saving and naming new edited clips, and uploading new edited clips. The project will be paid on a per job basis, after successful demonstration that the bidder can edit 1 sample video into smaller clips successfully. Once a successful demonstration is completed, we will make an award based upon overall quality of edited work and hourly rate charged. This job will potentially lead to more additional work.
