Text Conversion Project.

I own an event timing company which produces results for races. I have some options to print the results in specified formats. I am looking to take the file that is generated, a text file, and change some of the formats to a specified format. The challenge is that the results can be associated with a team or individual. I have some samples of the reports, which I can provide. I can also provide a sample of how I would like the results to be manipulated. I would like to be able to make edits to the program myself (where possible) to change some settings to instead of using a comma in 1 area, to use a semi-colon or character that I choose.
