I'm a game artist with technical mindset and some background in programming. I have previously done particle effects, animated sprites, scripts that scroll the texture to create effects, etc all the way up to editing shaders to get the specific effect I want.
I have previously worked on several game projects, which gives me a bit of different viewpoint into this project than many pure artists would have. While it's important to have a good-looking effect, I'm also able to consider many other factors. For example, the wind effect between the platform and the camera should be different and less distracting than the effect pushing the square block up. The block-pushing effect has to look stronger and more powerful. The effect between the platform and the camera has to convey that there is wind, but it should not distract the player's vision of the platform too much.
I'm just starting out on this site, so I don't have much to show off so far. That's why I'm offering to do this for so little, and why I'm willing to put in as much time as necessary.
