We are looking for a competent Pashto to English translator, who will have to translate an 8min interview video file into a written word document with time code for each sentence (explanation below). It will be beneficial if you speak Dari/Farsi, too, as there might be some words or sentences which are not Pashto. Therefore, please check the link to the video file below and see if you can understand what is being said or not.
The translations are needed for a short documentary film about the current security situation in the Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
The video file that needs to be translated can be viewed and downloaded here:

We will need the English translations to be typed into a word document in the following format:
00min 03secs: Sample translation phrase one.
00min 16secs: Sample translation phrase two.
00min 24secs: Sample translation phrase three.
05min 53secs: End of video file.
Please note that it is very important that the timecode is exact to the second, as we will later on only use several sentences from the recording. For this purpose, we need to be sure that EACH SENTENCE has a timecode, so that we can precisely cut out only the statements that we need.
After we have included the subtitles into our documentary piece, based on your translations, we will send you the final video for checking and verifying if the subtitles are in the right position or if we chopped of any words/sentences. For this, we will create a separate milestone, so you will get paid 70% of the money already after delivering the translation word file. The remaining 30 will be paid out to you after you have verified the final video after we have included the subtitles.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
Thank you very much,
Dennis and Patrick
