The Bomb is a science fiction film, that finishes with the detonation of a building that the main character (a futuristic bomb disposal expert) is running away from For this to work visually it would require the building in the shot behind the actor to be modelled in 3D, which would then allow us to give the experience of an explosion erupting from within and also be far more realistic. We see the building from three shots, so a 3D model would allow us to manipulate it in much more detail with the added vfx layers on the explosions. If you are interested in this project we can send you over much more detailed shots together with a detailed VFX Breakdown guide on how to approach the design. Film premise: A futuristic bomb disposal expert has to deal with a holographic projection from a future bomb in a secluded underground car park zone, and go through his fears to convince the threat not to activate, as it counts down and the bomb employs his memories to slow him down. Shot on FS7 and near to completion in post production, this film should be doing the festivals round soon, and be a welcome addition to anyone's show-reel.
