Build a prototype like a toy (Mechanical and Electrical)

I want to build a small toy. It is essentially a small enclosure which shall hold a cereal bowl. on pressing a button , the cupboard door opens and the bowl comes out (similar to have a cuckoo comes out of cuckoo clock) and stays there. On pressing the button again the bowl goes back inside. and the door shuts down. The bow is around 4 inch in diameter and close too 300 grams. I am looking to build an actual hardware, not looking for a 3d model :). Kindly see the attachments showing a video of the mechanism i am trying to build
