We are an early-stage startup creating an iOS entertainment social media app consisting of AR technology. The feature we would like you to work on is a TikTok-style camera functionality where users are able to record short videos of themselves portraying characters from shows with the use of our 3D character model.

We are looking for a hire that can provide us with a 3D modeler and iOS developer to improve one of our 3D character models maintaining ARKit .scn compatibility.

However, if you specialise in just 3D modelling or iOS development, we are willing to have separate hires for this job post.

The deliverables for the 3D modeler are:

- Improve the quality/texture of the 3D character model to resemble the actor that plays her (making our Rachel Green model more similar to Jennifer Aniston)

- Enlarge the 3D model as it is currently being applied on the face with a “fish-eye” effect, changing the 3D model shape when rendering on the user’s face. This “effect” causes the 3D character model to lose the resemblance to the actual actor that portrays the character.

- Rig the 3D model’s hair for it to have some movement when the user moves their head

- Add mouth (teeth and tongue) to our current 3D character model with corresponding blendshapes/rigging

- Add nose and cheek blendshapes/rigging to our current 3D character model

The deliverables for the iOS developer are:

- Muscle tracking on mouth, nose and cheek areas

- Model exportation process from 3D modeler
