Hi, We usually take pictures for reference and sculpt them in Zbrush for a high realistic poly model and make the model topology in Maya for rigging and animation. We can show some work done in Zbrush using Skype or a Record Video of the process to create it if you want. Hello, I am interested in your project because I have great working mechanical and industrial design experience. My main 3D CAD software is Autodesk Inventor Professional (Certified professional), but I am also familiar with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D). Take a look at some of my project samples here on my portfolio page. You forget to attach any reference files. It would be nice if you could provide some concept sketches with basic dimensions or other reference material of your 3D Modelling project so I can review them and tell you my opinion (time needed, more info if needed...). I placed some approximately bid amount for start. While working on project I usually send clients 3D DWF (there is free viewer on net) and 2D pdf files for review. Some of us freelancers actually read and evaluate project requests even though it takes on average over 30 bids to get a job. Mainly because of those who just spam every job whether they can do it or not.
