We are seeking a part-time Telemarketer to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests. You will be responsible for influencing prospects along with existing customers to buy products or services. You will also be responsible for assisting office staff by answering inbound calls, transfer callers to the appropriate person or department, taking messages, and in certain situations answering customers' questions.
A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive and possess the ability to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time, and present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered and capable of dealing with all ranges of personalities in a healthy and productive manner. This is a sales / marketing oriented position with miscellaneous additional administrative job duties. Depending on the candidate's proven abilities on the job, this position may develop into a full-time position with added responsibilities outside the ones described below, and plenty of room for growth.
Two goals are present: to grow our electrical contracting operation's property management customer list, and to sell KSH Marketing's online reputation management program ("The Review Generator".)
Heavy cold calling utilizing a given phone directory to sell our products or services
Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
Use scripts to provide information about the product or service's features, prices, and present their benefits
Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer's requirements
Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how program or services meet their needs
Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system
Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
Utilize CRM system to track calls and leads through the sales pipeline processes
Handle complaints or doubts to safeguard the company's reputation
Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Can follow directions and receive feedbackRequirements
Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of CRM software, telephone system, and Windows computer
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English
Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
Persistent and results-oriented
Patient and able to handle customer rejection
