I just need a written how-to describing how to complete a configuration on Apache.
I have an Apache 2.2.3 webserver on CentOS 5.8, on a hosted machine with multiple IP addresses assigned to it, and I want to set up a different SSL-enabled website on each IP address.
Assume for example that I have two domains, [login to view URL] and [login to view URL], configured to resolve to two different IP addresses 1.2.3.4 and 5.6.7.8, both assigned to my machine, and I have validly signed SSL certificates and private keys for both [login to view URL] and [login to view URL], at the usual location:
/etc/pki/tls/certs/[login to view URL]
/etc/pki/tls/certs/[login to view URL]
/etc/pki/tls/private/[login to view URL]
/etc/pki/tls/private/[login to view URL]
I want the contents of [login to view URL] to be served from incoming SSL requests on the IP address 1.2.3.4, so that [login to view URL] is mapped to some directory on my server /file/path/whatever , so for example a request for [login to view URL] would serve the contents of /file/path/whatever/subdir . And similarly I should be able to serve the contents of [login to view URL] in response to SSL requests on 5.6.7.8, and map that to some other local file directory on the machine.
All I need is a how-to describing how to do that. I CANNOT give out access to the machine, but I'll follow your instructions precisely, and I'll let you know if I get stuck.
Thanks!
