I have about 20 years of experience in Microsoft Office. Also I have experience filling out forms and consolidating thousands of medical data anywhere ranging from the patients name, address, diagnosis, and even social security number (in other words, I have experience handling sensitive data).
I am an Actuary with 8 years experience in risk analysis, risk adjustment, risk evaluation, risk management and risk projection. I use multivariate analysis to identify variables that affect the overall adjustments. Here are the potential steps i believe that's related to your business:
1) Identify scope of work, what's included in analysis, and what's not included, time frame, goals
2) collect historical data going as far back as possible, say 5 years back. This set of data will be used as bench mark, or base risk factors
3) collect current data, clean the data (make sure no blanks or understand the data gap), identify outliers
4) perform analysis - which includes times series and regression
