Do we need to create an installable software or a web-page where this operation will take place (the CSV will be uploaded in the WebPage and then data will be extracted. 2. Hello nmandich, I suggest we develop a simple desktop application which will import the given CSV, pre-process it and parse the data from individual fields (or break it up from single fields) into Access database table columns. The data will be browsable (optionally sortable, filterable etc) from within the application and laid out in a specified layout (will be discussed further). If you're interested about technicalities, I intend to develop the software with Java/JavaFX programming language (for a nice and fluent user interface and program logic), create reports using Jasper Reports technology (for report previewing, exporting, printing etc.) and persist the data in an Access database. The application will be packaged as a normal executable (.exe) format. I also don't have the intention of cutting off our communication once the project is finished, and will be available to you at any time in case you encounter any issues or have any questions regarding the software (over Skype, email or whatever communication method suits you most).
