Thunderbird extension

In my company, we use thunderbird (under windows) as e-mail client and a proprietary software to file all documents in a central archive. We need to file also some emails (in pdf format). Owr current procedure is to print email with a virtual pdf printer, save the file to desktop and then open the software (using the pdf as input). What I would like to achieve is to have a button (through an apposite extension) in thunderbird (near message-related buttons: reply, reply to all, forward,...). The button, when pressed, should: - "Print" the email to pdf, saving the file to a temporary folder; - open the proprietary software with the path and name of the temporary file as argument. (eg: "C:\Program files\[login to view URL]" "c:\temp\[login to view URL]") Owr software will automatically delete temporary files when they are uploaded to the central archive.
