Python to setup “id_rsa” to AWS Parameter Store using AWS CLI
Tried making this work; but not working very well
x=`cat ~/.ssh/[login to view URL]`
aws ssm put-parameter --name "id_rsa" --type "SecureString" --value "$x" –overwrite
Need to speak with someone KNOWLEDGEABLE with AWS Parameter Store.
There is a debate about how to format the file; so unless you are confident, this may not work as was told a comma broken down file is needed. Need see if we need Python script for that will help make a comma separated RSA key. Do you know AWS Parameter Store?
(Is $10 ok?) (If not how much?)
The python that is written should work on Windows or Linux without being altered.
Please share your thoughts?
If you have questions please confirm you read all of this, before reaching to me.
My first question to you will be; did you read the project details?
Please only BID if you know how to do this and are certain you can do this?
Expecting this is something easy for about $10 or so and will be something Python Person would know and understand. Please note there is hope we can mutually complete this task; we can leave each other nice comments and 5 stars for each.
Seeing your problem i have to get access to aws just to check all the params are set perfectly or working fine. Lets discuss more about this if possible.
So basically what you need is a secure string from a file to be stored in the AWS parameter store using python script and some formatting needs to be done to the string before updating in parameter store. This can be done using the python boto3 library.
