We need to move an user application from x86 Linux 2.6 platform to ARM Linux platform. We need someone help us to setup the C++/C compilers and dependencies to compile the source code on the ARM board. The application is written in C++/C and has interfaces with Postgresql database. We don't need cross‐compilation and Eclipse at this moment. The source code should be compiled in BeagleBone Black or Raspberry Pi 3 board directly. We need step by step instruction.

I can make you a proper LINUX script that downloads the required dependencies to build a compiler and then builds it, also a makefile that you can use to build your program using the compiler. Hi I have extensive experience on build setup for arm boards like nitrogen 6, panda, pie etc. The base package of pie or beagle may not have your DB library support. You may need source of your DB package. Initially I find the basic steps for your requirement. Steps : 1. compile all the dependencies of DB lib 2. Find other dependencies of application which are not available on the board. 3. Install the packages identified in #2. 4. Compile your application source code. I have good experience in this area my whole Carplay application is directly build on nitrogen board.
