Hey there. I'd be happy to work on this with you. I'm a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, so this is the kind of thing I do on a day-to-day basis. It sounds to me like you want to implement the Carvalhoa & Freitas HDT algorithm which uses GAs. Do you have any particular preference as to how this is implemented? --I have experience a working model on decision trees, predicting classification churn-no churn for a telco --worth to say, random forests most likely can do better than decision trees alone, since random forests are compositions of decision trees, bypassing the handicaps of the latter
