I have 7+ years experience with Python, and 6 years experience with Java. I have recently complete a degree in Computer Science specialising in Cyber Security. One module was exclusively about classical and early cipher techniques, so I am very aware of the implementation of the Enigma machine. I envisage a class with you configure on initialisation, which has encrypt and decrypt methods. Is this the sort of thing you were thinking of? I will be able to create a GitLab repo for you.
