The objective of this project is to demonstrate that you can assess that a patient portal is functioning as intended. In this paper, you will propose and defend a detailed and measurable evaluation plan for recently implemented changes to the Patient Web Portal. These changes include: 1. Text reminders for an upcoming appointment 2. Requests to complete the Intake Sheet (aka "Clipboard") online 48 hrs before your visit The plan will include evaluations of the system at multiple points in time and your rationale for selecting evaluation methods. Project Details This project is distributed as follows. 1. Evaluations of the system at the following point of time: o At the time of implementation: Well-developed and logically reasoned identification of the concrete and measurable metrics, discussion of how you are going to collect the data, and discussion of how you are going to analyze the data for a patient web portal system implementation o 3 months after initial implementation: Well-developed and logically reasoned identification of the concrete and measurable metrics, discussion of how you are going to collect the data, and discussion of how you are going to analyze the data for a patient web portal system implementation. o One year after implementation: Well developed and logically reasoned identification of the concrete and measurable metrics, discussion of how you are going to collect the data, and discussion of how you are going to analyze the data for a patient web portal system implementation. 2. Rationale(s) of the selection of evaluation method(s): Well-developed and logically reasoned discussion of the rationale(s) for the selection of evaluation method(s) at the three time periods. 3. Presentation and layout of paper: Follows APA guidelines for presentation and layout of paper including title page with running head, page numbers, and headers. 4. APA style and references: Follows APA guidelines for in-text citations, formatting for long and short quotes, and references, including hanging indent. The following two documents can serve as a guiding framework for your paper: 1. Evaluation toolkit for integrated health information (Links to an external site.) from the National Library of Medicine (NLM) The paper should be between 10 and 15 pages double-spaced. 7th Edition APA-format is required (examples can be found at Purdue OWL (Links to an external site.))
