*** PLEASE READ REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING *** We are looking for a developer with Python and React experience to help develop an AWS based platform. Your job would be to work on front-end UX elements written in React and to connect front end elements with backend systems, such Lambda functions, databases etc. You would need to work with Freelancer time-tracking tools. FLUENT spoken and written English is a MUST Experience and willingness to work with JIRA, SLACK Track time via Freelancer tracking platform and JIRA Good communication and organisation skills are a must, please do not apply if you prefer flexibility in your time. Job Description: Developing new user-facing features using React.js Creating tight integrations with backend components in Python 3.x Experience working in AWS Cloud infrastructure is a strong plus Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code Technical skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., [login to view URL]) Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus Familiarity with RESTful APIs Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements A knack for benchmarking and optimization Familiarity with code versioning tools Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Proficiency in SQL and working with Databases, particularly Postgres
