When you apply, please provide your suitable fixed price correctly. We are looking for a talented full stack developer who will be responsible for implementing a simple desktop app for Windows in Python 3. The aim of the app is to propose activities to the user according to the current weather of a given location. The desktop app needs a simple GUI with little user interaction (e.g. with PyQT) and some back-end functionality. The GUI includes a header with the project name, an image of the current weather situation for a given geo-location, the current day marked in a calendar, a text field that displays the proposed activity, and two buttons: one to accept the activity, one to see a new proposal. After accepting, a simple message should be displayed. The back-end functionality looks as following: - Retrieve current raw weather data of given location (e.g. using the API of [login to view URL]). - Render weather data as an image using [login to view URL] (We require only 5 different categories of weather from the categories provided in the git-repository, but all types of weather data shall be mapped to these 5 categories) - Retrieve proposed activities (currently provided as an xlsx-file) - Change activity if requested by user.
