Mentoring on VSC, developing python app under WSL

I've got 40 years of IT experience but have both had a holiday from software development and am new to the Python VSC WSL world. I need to quickly get to grips with the language for a new project and don't have time to "figure" things out. This means having somebody that I can tap to help me: 1) get my environment working, 2) understand a bit of code, or 3) figure out where to look for more information. I'm thinking this assistance would be over the next month. It would probably involve some joint on-line, screen sharing sessions, where you (as mentor) help me debug an issue and me posting you questions that you would then get back to me on. Most of the time, I cannot imagine I'd need more than 10 minutes at a go, asking a question. I'd expect to pay for your time (and not just be grateful). At the moment, I'm having difficulty getting a repo I pulled to run using VSC. Somehow the [login to view URL] or perhaps the workspace setting is confusing the interpreter from finding the other objects in the same directory (i.e. the "import" is failing); previously, when it was working, for some reason, the code was not noticing changes to a file that [login to view URL] was watching. While I'm a fast learner, my opportunity window is tight and I cannot lose time scouring the internet to debug problems due to my lack of general knowledge. I'm based in Budapest and am reasonably flexible on hours.
