I’m looking for a very simple system that allows me to operate almost any number of Components from one simple list, I.e Line4 = (if “line1” “columnB” is “True”) turn on! Then log Time, Date and state. Next cycle if Line4 = (if “line1” “columnB” is “false”) turn off! Then log Time, Date and state. With Line1, ColumnB being a simple “temperature probe”, logging at the requested cycle rate. I would like to use a USB to TTL, YP-01, that takes analog data and converts to digital data over USB. I don’t mind what language is used as long as I can click a simple line of statements and operational options that will cycle through data logs and preform logical actions. I see the hard part as getting the drivers to recognise the USB connection, but I might be wrong. Kind Regards

Hello, First thing Yes we cannot develop a data logger with USB to TTL, YP-01 alone. It is just a TTL to USB convertor. You will need a micro controller circuit which will convert the analog signals to digital data and sent out using UART in micro controller in the format you mentioned. The UART pin of micro controller will be connected to YP-01 which will receive the data and send to USB port. Option2: ------------- you have micro controllers like PIC18f2550 with ADC and USB in a single chip which if used doesn't need a YP-01 convertor. We can discuss Regards Senthil
