Hello,
since I'm a puppetry student in the fourth year of my university program, I'm right on my way to become a puppet expert.
What I like most about puppetry is the modest, humble approach to performing art. As a puppeteer you are of course present on stage, but at the same time, you devote yourself to something else, give focus to the material to create the illusion of life.
To me, puppetry and all the related fields like object theatre have the biggest dramatic potential, because of the inherent contradiction. The process of animation, especially live animation, still strikes me and I would love to share this fascination or bring it to other people.
I'm trained in both manipulation and fabrication. So far I've only worked in puppet theatre, but I'm also very interested in film
