Proof Reading English Content In Outdoor Niche

Hi, We have an ongoing job for someone with strong English to proof read about 90 existing articles (ranging from 1000 - 3000 words) that are to be published on a website about Outdoor topics like Camping, Hiking, Kayaking etc. The audience will be for the website will be people in the USA, so the English skills need to consider English spelling and grammar for the USA market. You will have exception English skills. We do not require you to write any content. The only content "writing" task you would be involved in is the occasional update of sentences that don't read quite right. You would be reading the content inside a system called Article Insights (we would show you how to use that system) and make notes inside what is called the writers brief (so we know what changes have been made). We are not looking for someone to speed through this task. We need someone who has a close eye for attention to detail. This would be an ongoing project. We have other websites about Sleep Apnea, Dogs some other topics too. Provided you are the right fit (based on the outcome of this project), we would have ongoing work for you. This is a pretty simple and straight forward task for someone who knows what they are doing. You would be able to use our own Grammerly Premium account (if you don't have your own) to help with the tone of voice and grammar in each article. We do need manual human eyes to still read the content though. This is not a push button and let Grammerly do all the work kind of project. When you apply for this role, please make your opening comments say "Your new chief proof reader" at the beginning of your bit, so we know you can follow simple instructions. All automated bids will be removed. Do not send us messages in attempts to speed up selection. Also list out your experience when you apply and any websites you may have done proof reading on previously. We are based in Australian (Sydney) time zone, so its important that we can have at least 2-3 hours where our time zones can match up or you will be prepared to make yourself available a couple of times each week to go over anything with us or ask questions.
