Not sure how Amibroker processes the information, However I would think that the EMA or SMA are an established function within it. But the MA seems to take the Charts scale to determine MA periods. I would rather the MA (SMA or EMA) have its own scale that remains consistent regardless of the chart scale. I would like to make it variable for me to set the type of MA it uses, either SMA - simple moving average or EMA exponential moving average. Process Accept variables for four values 1. Switch for SMA or EMA 2. (time scale for both) i.e. months, weeks, days, hours, minutes 3. & (time span for short period) i.e. 10, 30, 200, 3500 etc. With scroll bar to vary period while watching chart change/update 4. & (time span for long period) i.e. 15, 35, 250, 4050 etc. With scroll bar to vary period while watching chart change/update Long term must be greater than short term. Plot In its own chart below the price chart Show a flat zero line, then fluctuating around this zero line plot with at each time or tick increment plot line = (short term MA minus long term MA) / long term MA I would like the short-term MA to allow even 1 period, effectively making it the current price. I would also like it if it could be used for either time charts or tick charts.

Hi, I have understood the requirement and have done the coding as per specification. We can have a discussion and I can show you what is already done. From profile it may seem that I am a novice but, I have already completed many afl scripts offline and now decided to work on freelancer. Given a chance we can both complete this task in professional way.
