For me, it's easier to contact the suppliers and follow up the production and ensure quality before shipment, because there is a big jet lag and distance between two countries. I guess that is why you wanna a buyer based in China. Also, I guess your company like FOB payment. However, it's not still very profitable unless you contact the export agency.
