Wordpress website development

We have a website that is in early stages of development. Wordpress woocommerce platform, with storefront theme. The site has two purposes. It is a business directory for visitors to use and see reviews of businesses. It has a private storefront for businesses to find custom promotional items. We are using the woocommerce platform because their store is robust. We are using GeoDirectory plugin to create the directory and listings. 1. Homepage: Build the framework for our content. I would like to have a long scrolling page with multiple sections of content that have different formats. Website Requirements: A unique identifier code that we can give to the user in an email or other types of communication. If the user types in the provided URL it will direct them to our homepage but it will force a pop-up that will ask for their identifier code. Upon entering the code and submitting they will be directed to a simplified landing page. 3. Landing Page: • Widget to display one of the products from the store • An add to cart button for the product in the widget • An option to continue to see more products in a private store • A login/register button • An option to claim their listing on the business directory (GeoDirectory plugin) 4. Cart/checkout Requirements: If the customer goes to the store using the identifier code without registering their company they should be able to check out as a guest but we will still ask if they would like to register/login. 5. Registration Requirements: A user needs the unique identifier code in order to authenticate their profile. This will be a required field and it will be authenticated by matching up their business name and identifier code to the information in our database. If the user does not have their code or forgot their code we will need an option to request the code. They will need to fill out a contact form with the following fields: • Business name • Business address along • Email address 6. Logged in Users Logged in users have 3 main functions 1. Access to hidden store 2. Ability to claim listing from directory (authenticate using identifier code) 3. Ability to edit fields on profile (needs manual verification from admin) *The "woocommerce storefront powerpack" has been purchased and many of the yitheme woocommerce plugins have been installed to help create these functions. I also have premium add-ons for GeoDirectory. ***Website Updates: We want to maintain our ability to get updates from Wordpress, Woocommerce, Storefront, and GeoDirectory developers.
