Wordpress Site Revisions

We have a WordPress site that requires a number of revision to the layout and styling of various elements. Here is the list of revisions we need:

Home Page Changes

1. Increase size of main banner text by about 75%

2. Replace the 4 Quicklink photos (directly under the banner) with the attached images:

a. Government – Fotolia 142497863

b. Connect (previously Culture) – Fotolia 158252829

c. Residents – Fotolia 83690204

d. Business – Fotolia 126075220

3. Currently the site section under the 4 quicklinks is divided into 2 columns – the left column has the weather, events calendars, navigation, etc., and the right columns has content and blog articles. We want to increase the width of the first column and reduce the width of the 2nd column.

a. The first column needs to be wide enough to accommodate a larger calendar of events (see screenshot attached – Calendar of [login to view URL])

b. Then all other elements within that column need to be widened accordingly

4. Weather widget needs to change color to match the theme colors. Perhaps make it a shade of the orange instead of teal.

5. Change styling on Events calendar to match the one attached with the following changes

a. Do not use rounded edges

b. Instead of green, use orange color for top section

c. Change highlight date colors to the green color used on the site

d. Change background color to black used on the site

6. For the town survey, can we make it so that it stands out more by making the background color of the box a green color instead of white?

7. Enlarge the text in the vertical navigation that is under the event calendar by about 25%

8. For the banner labelled “ENGAGE YOUR COMMUNITY”, the black overlay is way too dark – please reduce the overlay so that you can see the picture better.

a. Also increase the size of the text in the banner by about 300%

9. Change the footer to look like the one used on this site: [login to view URL]

Subpages/Content Page Changes:

1. Remove page FAQs under the CONNECT navigation

2. Need to change the format of all subpages so that they have a static banner image with title text above the content region. It can be like the banner on the home page except about half the height

3. The banner image should expand full screen edge to edge (just like the home page banner)

4. The text in the banner image should the Page title but very large text

5. Should be a black tinted overlay on the banner so that the text is readable on top of the image

6. Here are the images for each sub page to use:

7. For the side bar (right ¼ of the screen) next to the main content on the subpages, we need to change what appears there – right now it shows recent blog posts. Please change it the following:

a. Event calendar (like the smaller one on the home page)

b. Town Survey/Poll

c. Then show the same Vertical navigation as shown on the home page that us under the event calendar in the side bar

Some pages are linking back to the original theme demo site which needs to be fixed as well.

Once these changes are done the site need to be check for mobile (phone and tablet) versions to make sure the layout is working okay in responsive mode as well.
