Website Troubleshooting and Development

I am looking for someone to fill the role of website troubleshooter and developer for a site built on WordPress/Genesis. If you feel you can take on a site that has had many developers involved over the past few years and hit the ground running, read on. The ideal candidate should have a thorough knowledge of PHP programming for WordPress, CSS, MySQL database management and optimization, plugin management, and be proficient working with the Genesis Framework. Familiarity with managing DigitalOcean is a plus. Candidates should be confident in their ability to identify issues that might adversely affect site speed and functionality, and resolve them with as little downtime as possible. Other than the live site, we also have a staging, and development server available. The ability to move changes, fixes, etc. between these servers is important. Communication is essential, and fluency in English (written and spoken) is desired. Quick response to tasks and emails is necessary to keep the lines of communication open. When taking on tasks, the candidate should be able to provide project timelines and estimates on expected costs, if requested. This will be an open-ended project, with no defined stop. Our goal is to establish a long-term relationship with the candidate selected. Candidates must be willing to provide at least two references to recently completed jobs, and to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
