Setting threshold to memory used by Powershell script running at the startup of the computer

I have a PowerShell script running on the computer and I observed that there is a steady increase in the memory utilization of the script and it never comes down back. So need a cmdlet or script which can make the powershell script utilize constant memory for running in the background.

I want a demo before assigning a milestone
