I am wondering if you could develop a module to scan a business card by using openCV to detect automatically the edges of the card and to take a picture with the perspective correction of the image. Something similar to what is used by "Office Lens". Once the image is taken, the module will use google vision API for the OCR to extract the text from the business card and use the Natural Language API (google vision too) to organise the text in different fields as name, company name, address, telephone number, email etc... Let me know the questions and estimation for the project.

I can do this using both the new google vision api, with a local no-internet fall-back option using tesseract ocr. I'd would use an opencv library mostly in C++ (max portability); with DLL for .NET Relevant Skills and Experience I have done many opencv OCR projects here using this opencv/tesseract technique for .NET/C# API and UI.
