Office 365 - Teams - Shifts - Custom Development

Office 365 Teams – Shifts (“Teams-Shifts”) application has most of the functions required for us to adequately manage staffing and Scheduling across the organisation – BUT it is missing some key functionality that is preventing us from moving forward with using it. Staff View – Staff work across multiple sites from day to day (sometimes even in the same day). The native function of Teams-Shifts is to display only the shifts for the “Team” they are viewing. This means that staff cannot easily see when and where they are working across our network of locations. Daily Schedule – Staff undertake many activities in their daily shift, these can be scheduled using the native activities function in the Teams-Shifts BUT when displaying this natively in Teams you cannot hide people that don’t have a shift for that day. This makes reviewing and running to the daily schedule untenable. This design scope seeks to engage in custom developed of web interfaces to resolve the above two immediate barriers preventing us from to moving to Teams-Shifts.
