New Site Coding Needed

[login to view URL] of new communities automatic. Currently we add the communities one at a time and the information. We build the sites. I would like to have it so that a new community could be activated if a person visits localpro from an area that is not represented. ie: they look for Silver City and we don't yet have a Silver City so the viewer gets a message along the lines: Silver City is coming. You can be the first to contribute or to activate this site. Then there are 3 or 4 fill in boxes and submit and a temporary Silver City pops up with certain data pulled in from outside as tempory content. The viewer can sign up as a user and begin adding content and/or purchase an ad through the site. And we are notified of the "new interest" in Silver City so that we can help develop it. 2. Viewers to sign up to contribute information, classified ads etc. 3. Business owners to be able to purchase advertising immediately through the site when they view the site and make their ads temporary subject to moderator [login to view URL], we sell ads and screen the businesses and the content and we post the ads. Too much labor and we lose alot of people who are interested because they have to contact us. [login to view URL] are 3 moderators for each site that keep an eye on things. I want to be able to give them access to things with the community that they are involved in and we have to be able to track revenue on a community by community basis and calculate the moderators' pay. Moderators are independent contractors and are paid a % of the revenue of the community. We also have to be able to track the moderator's time because we require that they sign in and perform maintanence each week. 5. Revenue to each community comes from: a. Sale of the front page tile ads (currently free 90 days then $100/yr) b. Basic business listing (free one year, then $10/year thereafter) Businesses are listed and displayed in the order that they sign up but there is will be an option for the view to select "alphebetical" Currently, we list them alphebetical. c. Google ads (which will be on the indivual member pages) d. Affiliate program on a per community basis (also on the individual members pages) e. Daily business offering. We charge $100 to feature a busines and then collect .25-.$1.00 for each promotion offer that is printed and we authorize it. f. Enhanced business listing. Top 2 spaces in each category rotate with 5 businesses each. g. Memberships. (these may or may not relate to a community) There are viewers-no sign in required. Then there are basic sign ups- no fee, access to certain things. Then there are preferred or enhanced memberships- fee and have extra features to access. I expect to have 3 levels of paying memberships but keep it flexible 2-3 levels but make it where more could be added. We have to be able to track all revenue on a community by community basis. 6. payment through paypal and/or others. If the offer is purchased as a gift, then the full price is collected at time of purchase but we take only the transaction fee, the payment for the product or service has to go directly to the business through that business' paypal. We are not the middleman in the business conducted between the seller and buyer. We are mearly disseminating the offer through our system and charging the Seller a $100 fee and the buyer a transaction fee. 8 Creating indiviual pages for people (like facebook) and for clubs and organizations and for businesses. photos, links etc. we will also allow them to put affilliate links on these pages behind tiles similar to what is on the front page of the community site. 9. Affiliates. We have chosen certain affiliates to do business with and we will certainly expand that list greatly. Additionally to offering the affiliates on our pages, we will allow the members (enhanced members) to put some selected affiliates on their personal pages. The affilliates come from a list that we have chosen to do business with. There will have to be a profit share and tracking for revenue that we receive from this the members who have the affiliates on their page. ie localpro gets 50% and they get 50% 10. Jobs. Currently, we have a basic employment list. We will expand this to a more complete service on the lines of [login to view URL] Keep this in mind when designing. 11. Incorporate an auction site that is for clubs and organizations for fundraising. There will need to be a page listing the clubs and groups and events etc. and explaining how the program works and this is how it works. Also the individual can post a link on their individual page to the auction or list their auction items on their site. On a club page they can list the items at auctin that will benefit their group with a link to the auction. A person puts an item up for sale. Localpro keeps an administrative fee for running the auction Then the sale price is split with a % going to the seller and a % going to the seller's designated fundraising event ie youth group activity etc. The seller can designate the portion or we can determine a default. There is an auction package I have been looking at and it would need some customization and integaration into the site. Grocery Ad match needs to be coded. It is by community. Members select from a comprehensive product list their top 50 most frequently purchased items. Prices are tracked at all stores in the community. When one of the items on an individuals list is on sale that person can receive email notification if they choose to get the information that way. Otherwise they can visit the site where all of their items are listed with the prices at specific stores. Also all store sales are kept track of and sorted for Ad Match. People in the group help to keep the prices updated and current by adding the prices of items as they shop. This way it is a community effort, community specific and as up-to-date and accurate as possible. Our moderators do a lot of the work initially. This is almost a site itself as there will be coupons and tips for saving etc. I would like to have importable info so that people can add to their shopping list as they think of things that they need. This is one of the components that will bring people back to localpro on a daily or weekly basis. 13 The Playground-- we have an area for games but we will be expanding this greatly. The games we currently have are fun and educational in nature. 14. The Business Center -- Under development. (l will update later) 15. Currently we have been using domains for each community. We want to go to a subdomain situation + forward our current community domains to the specific page in the site. 16. place for a phone number(s) for each community that can be changed out easily. 17. News for each community that is specific to the community + other important news, streaming news etc. 18 Restaurants. We used to have a menu template but we don't any more. I would like to offer a menu template for restaurant owners to use to put their menu on line for call in ordering. 19. We have to make this site for mobile phones to access. 20 Shopping cart for anything we (localpro) might be selling. 21. mySqL database I believe this is currently written in asp.net with some PHP. We were looking at PHP, JAVA, and Rails but would listen to your ideas as to selection. Currently, almost every category is local and then expandable. We have community, nearby communities, county, region of the state ie Southern, Central, NE, State, region of the county, country.
